Buyers are increasing down in London, up to 35% in some places.
Maybe this is due to the fact that the stupidly over inflated prices of properties in London has dropped considerably in the last few months, making the prospect of owning properties in London, quite tempting.

According to estate agency Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, buyer registrations were at their highest level last month since Spring 2008, with over 35 per cent of them coming from FTBs.
Lee Watts, managing director of Kinleigh, said: “We have seen a sharp increase in the level of new buyer registrations during the first month of 2009, and even more encouragingly a significant week-on-week increase in the percentage of first-time buyers
